As part of the estate, we have two hotels and offer a wide variety of sporting and other activities.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing break in a stunning landscape – or are planning a sporting break in the Hebrides, Fearann Eilean Iarmain has it covered. From Red Deer Stalking to Fishing for Brown Trout or Arctic Char in one of our stocked lochs, spotting Eagles and Otters on a Guided Wildlife Walk – or simply enjoying a tasting of our very own Gaelic Whiskies and Gins, there’s something for everyone at Fearann Eilean Iarmain.

Shooting & Fishing on the Isle of Skye
Under the guidance of Head Gamekeeper, Scott Mackenzie, Fearann Eilean Iarmain has a wide range of shooting sports available to the experienced and novice alike. Whether you’re looking for a guided stalk on to Red Stags or Hinds, Roe Bucks and Does or Walked Woodcock, Fearann Eilean Iarmain is a great place to visit.
If you’d prefer to try your hand at shooting sports, then the new Simulated Stalking and Simulated Game Shoots are a great place to get a taste for the sport.

Accommodation at Fearann Eilean Iarmain
Fearann Eilean Iarmain has two hotels within the estate; Hotel Eilean Iarmain is located in an idyllic position at the water’s edge at Isleornsay and boasts magnificent views overlooking the picturesque bay – capturing the spirit of enchantment that belongs to the Hebrides. The Inn @ Aird a’ Bhasair lies slightly further south at Ardvasar and is one of the oldest inns on Skye and enjoys panoramic views overlooking the water off the bay and the Sound of Sleat with the rugged hills of Morar in the distance.

The Gaelic Whiskies and Gins
Whisky and Gin connoisseurs visiting Fearann Eilean Iarmain are in for a treat! Praban na Linne, producers of The Gaelic Whiskies is a small boutique whisky company on the Isle of Skye and was Founded in 1976, by the Scottish entrepreneur Sir Iain Noble of Fearann Eilean Iarmain. A more recent addition, we are now distilling The Gaelic Gins in a copper still located in one of our buildings at Hotel Eilean Iarmain. As a hotel guest – or simply a visitor to the Isle of Skye, you are welcome to join us to taste our delicious Whiskies and Gins.
