Built in the early 1800s the Inn @ Aird a’ Bhasair is one of the oldest inns on Skye and enjoys panoramic views overlooking the water off the bay and the Sound of Sleat with the rugged hills of Morar in the distance. The Inn is located in the small village of Ardvasar, a short distance from Armadale where the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry from Mallaig brings you over the sea to Skye.
The Inn @ Aird a’ Bhasair has recently become part of Fearann Eilean Iarmain and following refurbishment, the Inn now has a relaxed, friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Open all year, it is the ideal place to experience Skye through the changing seasons.
The island can be particularly beautiful in the autumn and winter months; snow on the hilltops and winter sunlight giving plenty of opportunity for memorable photographs.
Suites, double and twin rooms provide attractive accommodation with views overlooking the water of the bay or the woodland of the hills.
Enjoy a delicious menu in the MacNaMara Bar, the Linne restaurant or the dog friendly Bothan Bar. Outdoor seating with a stunning view. Just the place to relax with a Gaelic Gin cocktail!
The Inn is the ideal place from which to explore the island and to enjoy Fearann Eilean Iarmain’s exciting outdoor activities. Discover wildlife, including sea eagles, golden eagles and otters while learning more about the environmental conservation and the rich cultural heritage of Gaelic that has shaped the history of this stunning landscape.
