Last week brought a mixed bag of weather and sport.
With the news of the Roe deer rut starting, Rob Crampton of Best Fox Call & Best Deer Call UK headed North once again to grace us with his presence.
Rob has become a firm fixture at Fearann Eilean Iarmain for many years now and its always a pleasure to host him.
Within hours of arriving we had Rob on a suitable cull buck, then back to Hotel Eilean Iarmain for some great food, beer whisky and hospitality!
Hebridean monsoons delayed play the following day. Then, as if the big man upstairs had flicked the weather switch our third day saw us heading to Barabhaig for some hill loch fishing in glorious sunshine.
